ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Steven, I've lived all my life in the UK, having grown up and gone to school here, though I have family in Switzerland.
A year ago I left my previous job as a Software Developer, because I realised I was no longer happy in my job. Since then I've taken a CELTA course to teach English to foreign learners, and have been teaching English in South Korea for the last year. I will be going back home to London in March 2015.
PHILOSOPHY
My current approach to life is to pursue whatever I feel will be the most fulfilling and bring the most happiness. Life can be unpredictable, and therefore it's sometimes best to see where it takes you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think this can be a very positive experience, as long as surfers and hosts ensure they treat each other with respect and communicate to ensure everyone has a great experience :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't had any experience yet both surfing and hosting, but everyone has to start somewhere!
Interests
Cycling: I think cycling is one of the best ways to explore a new area.
Go / Chess: I'm happy to challenge you to a game.
Snowboarding: After a life of skiing I've recently converted.
Films: If you've got a favourite movie I haven't seen I'd be interested to see.
