ABOUT ME

I'm a musician turned scholar. I have taught grades 3-8 for two years, but for the past 5 years I have been in graduate school, teaching and reading a lot. I enjoy traveling, reading, snowboarding, hiking, biking, pretty much anything active.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I am fairly new to this site, but I have some friends who use it and enjoy the experience. I am always interested in meeting new people, and discovering new places.

I'm a musicology PhD student, so I spend most my time on that. I also snowboard and play pick-up soccer games

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Attending the funeral for the late President Atta Mills of Ghana in July 2012 was a moving experience. Hiking in the Rocky Mountains is always inspiring as well.
