About Me

Hello there! My name is Steven if you have not already noticed. I am a local from Vancouver, Canada. 5 main points to know about me:

1) I graduated top of my class in culinary school so I will gladly help with dinner and clean up too!
2) I am really open to try anything, food, activities, or whatever.
3) I really like to just hang out, I just enjoy the company of other people.
4) I am really fun to party with, maybe because I am a lightweight, but also I am not afraid to dance no matter how goofy I look.
5) I drink almost everything iced.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel. I hate the baggage (pun intended) of hotels and the luxury that comes with it. I want to travel so that I can experience the world through a different set of lenses. I want to walk the street and understand the significance each vendor or stall has to a regular person.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music genre would mostly be the Canadian top 40 (most popular music on the radio) because normally it has upbeat and fast paced music. But in general all music speaks to me in some way in different situations.

My favorite movies would be burnt, chef, hundred foot journey, anything realtiing to a kitchen in some way. I also love romantic comedies depending on my mood.

My favorite books would be cookbooks, biographies, and self help books (because who doesn't want to know how to do things themselves).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being one of the youngest people in my intake of culinary school and scoring a 92% overall and a 89% on the government exam with minimal studying effort.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I so far have had 3.5 years cooking experience. I love it. Food is something we all share and something we can all learn from. I would love to share with you my cooking and maybe learn something in return. I totally would love to make a dinner for my host, that would be so awesome!
