About Me

Being a grandpa and still travel a lot in my old days, keeps me feel like a teenager. Visited 76 countries in my turbulent life and still not tired of meeting new people. I mix with young people of all sexes all the time and gete along greatly with them.

Keeping alive at the best way provided by nature. Still learn from my kids and grand kids, new ways to enjoy life at it's best. I am basically a happy person all the time. I don't smoke, take drugs, or drink more than a glas of wine in the evenings. Life is good !

In 1982 I wrote, and published my book "A Dream of Salornis", which portraits the physical and mental developement of humans. Since we still fighting each other over control, power and possessions, we have still not evolved sufficiently in order to return to the planet of our heritage SALORNIS, another name for, what the Bibel calls; PARADISE
I have stated that we are not intelligent enough to realize that we are not intelligent enough! If you understand that remark, then you're on your way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since i am retired, I don't travel very much more than just visiting my family in Sweden, or drive to Tiuana, Mexico over a weekend. After visiting over 76 countries during my turbulant life, I will sit in front of my laptop and write about it. In the meantime I have a lot of living to do, otherwise.

I am a Fine Artist. Salvador Dali has been my idol since childhood. Not that I try to copy his surrealistic style, but it inspires me to express my desires and dreams on canvas.
I have exhibited my paintings in England, Sweden and Johannesburg, South Africa.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to Rod Steward, Elton John, The Moody Blues, Dido, Air Supply, Yanni and many other good bands.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drove with my car from Ostersund, Sweden, to South Africa in 1982. Ask for photos from that trip, and I will email them to you.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am basically a professional Mercedes Benz technician. Although retired, I am still servicing old customers cars. Now I am enjoying my time to paint again, hoping to exhibit my paintings in the USA one day, too.
