ABOUT ME

I'm the kind that wants good playing & working in most days, beyond that it's fun to chill & share about what transpired, eh? Love quiet time, love incessant chatting time, really so many incredible ways to do this life and having the resources to allow me to actually see this always feels like such a blessing. Am the only non-African in a small Ghanaian village for 3 years so at the moment, saying blessings to any travelers who will bring their stories, smiles & blossoming meanderings to the couch!

Interests

Playing outdoors. Cycling, hiking, kayaking, snow sports, etc. Racing is fun but I suppose distance-type touring is what I'm starting to like more. Karate & yoga have been blessings for me. The other stuff that speaks to general enjoyment of stuff around you, yummy food, learning/immersing in cultures, languages, reading, etc, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Been watching more American TV from the village (w/ my down time...fatigued of reading & just got dvd player)than I've watched in my entire life-Grey's Anatomy & Sopranos. Reading A Short History of Everything. Watched Pride & Prejudice twice in two days recently. Small budgets & plenty of illness causes strange behavior!

Teach, Learn, Share

Yoga & karate are favorites as well as any outdoor excursion, always fun to share. Used to be a massage therapist, like to explore being healthy & well in the body & mind, between sips of wine that is. Stuff I'd like to learn, bring a smile & earnst desire to share & I'm probably in.
