Hi, I'm Summer!

I'm from a little bit of everywhere... My parents are from California, I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela and currently living in the Dominican Republic for the past 16 years! (minus a few years of living in California).

Things to know about me:
-I'm in love with the outdoors - surfing, exploring, hiking...
- I'm a portait photographer on the side. Would loveee to capture who YOU are through my lens!
- I am co-owner of Vagamundo Coffee and Waffles in Cabarate, Dominican Republic. It is connected to the Non-Profit that works with street kids in Latin America (based in Venezuela, Dominican Republic and South Sudan).
- I LOVE meeting new people and making new friends! My heart beats for adventure, new experiences and learning about new cultures.

I'm looking for authentic, local and friendly places to stay while I get to travel to beautiful countries! It's even more amazing when you get the inside scoop of the destination and get to know more people around the world!

Interests

I love love the ocean.

Surfing, snorkeling, kayaking, beach tanning - really anything near the ocean makes my heart happy.

I love being a barista (have been for the past 4 years both in California and Dominican Republic). aka - I love coffee.

For starters, I'm a quiet guest and very adaptable. I'm excited to try any food (*I am Gluten Intolerant, though) and love to chat about life and what brought you to where you are now!
