Enriching my life and the lives of others through meaningful connections
I like to find the adventure in whatever I'm doing. Whether I'm deep in the wilderness or at the grocery store with my 3-yr-old, epic curiosity and unadulterated silliness have the rule of the day.
The road you're on is the only road you can be on. Maybe it's a good idea to pay attention to what else might be on that road?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've got an extra cabin that's occasionally unoccupied, and I think there are folks who could use the clarity of thought that comes with seclusion and natural beauty.
I'm actually hard pressed to think of things that don't interest me...shopping malls, people without passion, standardized generic soulless crap, pedantic rants.
Here are a few things that I try not to take for granted: long dirt roads, picnicking in the rain, watching the snow, backcountry skiing, silence, destinationless travel, summit scrambling, trail running, off-trail running (and washing off the subsequent blood), taking a soak in thermal runoff, hauling my insanely comfortable patio furniture up a rocky outcropping and watching a vivid sunset with a glass of wine, swimming holes, genuine folks, playing music that suits the weather, cooking ethnic and regional cuisine that I just can't get in Montana.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Each new day brings its own brand of "amazing" to my life.
