Be happy, and make others happy :)
Life is too short, really, so let's get out there and enjoy it! I am who I am now, thanks to years and years of support from family, friends, and even just people passing by. In this respect, I've been incredibly lucky with who these people have been. Hopefully, they've helped me become someone who is open-minded, caring, and motivated to make positive changes in the world. Let's hope!
Don't think I've reached a sufficient level of wisdom yet to have my own preach-worthy philosophy; so for now, let's just go with "keep an open heart and open mind" (or at least try to!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm still relatively new to couchsurfing, but have been a long-time fan of the idea and the philosophy behind it.
Couch-surfed at a couple of cities in the US in 2013.
Also have friends who are involved with couchsurfing, so have met many fellow couchsurfers socially.
When I'm not studying or procrastinating, I like to run, read (sci-fi, modern lit., classics, anything!), play tennis, watch movies (also anything!), and socialise with friends. Yes yes, it's the usual.
Scuba diving: I've seen some amazing things in the ocean. It's truly awe-inspiring! Would recommend becoming an underwater explorer to anyone.
Hiking: this was one of my favourite things to do in Europe! In Australia, there's also an abundance of beautiful places to go hiking/bushwalking, so I'll keep on keep on walking, as far as my tired legs will take me! But you do have to be more careful in Australia because of the sun & heat, poisonous snakes, and getting lost! (haha, jk...mostly)
And of course, I love travelling and meeting other people who love travelling!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love science fiction, comedy, adventure, a range of foreign films, and sometimes j-drama, k-drama.
Books: modern fiction, sci-fi, japanese manga, biographies.
Music: almost anything, especially live music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Driving to Uluru with my family when I was 9. I still remember the endless desert in the sunset with everything blazing orange. Stunning!
Flying around Wilepena Pound in a tiny Cessna. Scary, but that was a panorama like I've never seen before.
Vineyard hopping in the wineries around Adelaide. Wine is good.
