ABOUT ME

I just took the Florida Bar Exam after graduating law school, to become an attorney/barrister/rechstenwalt/abogado/solicitor/avocat here in Florida. I play drums, I can cook, and I like dogs.

PHILOSOPHY

Give me oysters and beer/for dinner every day of the year/and I'll feel fine/Yes I'll feel fine//I want to be there/want to go back down, and lie beside the sea there/with a tin cup for a chalice/fill it up with good red wine//and I'll be chewin' on a honeysuckle vine.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

My favorite movie is The Fifth Element. I just saw No Country for Old Men this past week, it was really great also. I love almost all music, my favorites are country and western, classic rock, Jimmy Buffet, Pearl Jam, NIN, Widespread Panic, the Rolling Stones, and stuff like that.

I'm just getting back to reading actual books, but I recently read Blink, the Tipping Point, and The Alchemist, all of which I highly reccommend.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I was wade-fishing off Sanibel Island two summers ago and hooked into a juvenile tarpon right as the sun was sinking into the Gulf of Mexico. The most beautiful sunset I've ever seen, while i'm trying to fight this fish in. The sun was at my back, the fish in front, and I kept darting my eyes back and forth between this awesome tarpon and the amazing sunset. That was basically the best afternoon of my life.
