About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A race to visit as many countries as possible, with my sister

ABOUT ME

All about me? There is simply not enough room for that.
Education:
<------ +
BS Electrical Engineering Technology (May 2010)
Masters of Science Engineering Technology (Dec 2011)
Bachelors of Japanese (Dec 2012 or May 2013)

I am a computer nerd by trade, but just about everything fascinates me from the earthquake in Chili moving the Earths Axis to the Chinese history of 5000 years, written. From the poetic Samurai to the misunderstood vagabond.

I have expanding my horizons by breaking out of this sand box of my local existence and becoming a cultured world traveler. My current goals past my BS in Japanese is to move to Japan for a few years and then figure out my next move which most likely will be China. I am hoping to marry Asian but who knows the future.

While in Japan i plan on completing my Doctorate in Engineering Technology or equivalent path as well as getting int Aerospace Engineering tech, all the while attempting a stab at new languages. I do not plan on to ever stop learning or experimenting with new things. I shall end this section here as i can go on all day.

PHILOSOPHY

1) Live life like there is no tomorrow because after 2012 there may not be.
2) Age is timeless and timelessness is ageless, therefore if you live life to the fullest there is always time for jello.
3) Live life without regrets, once the now is passed it cannot replaced. Every moment we live is borrowed time anyways, why not make the most of it before the debtors come to collect.
4) Life is simple if you keep it that way, remember this when you feel overwhelmed or think life is complicated, because its not

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say the most amazing thing i saw in my lifetime thus far. would be this: I wrote this the day i buried my grandfather, its the true events that transpired and i tried to be as descriptive as possible. Yea that was an amazing day.

for a day that started out seemly impossible to turn, it was cold, gloomy, and i was not looking forward to the trip ahead. Driving for a few hours i finally got to my depressing destination where family gathered and tears fell from almost everyone. in the chapel the sermon was given, last words were said and to the final destination we rode. Once seated and the small tomb was carried by an honor guard and placed in the location where it was to be descended and remain. The day seemed to have nothing good to offer.

Then the honor guard ritualistically folded the flag as they did so many times before and offered the 9 gun salute to the dead. The flag was presented to dad and as i looked up i saw the moon in the eastern sky. It was only half moon, and the sun was still shining bright in the western sky. As i looked up at the clear blue sky i realized it was no longer gloomy. It was a very beautiful day. It seemed like the sun the sky and even both the light and dark side of the moon came out to show their last respects. The day got better.

On the way home i looked up and the sky presented a rainbow off in the distance as if nature was not through showing her respects to the recently fallen. i was amazed at the colors presented and i realized the day was turning into a good day. Then as i watched the skyline of fluffy clouds i looked at the vibrant colors the sun presented in ways ive never appreciated before. I could see orange purple red and blue in a magnificent display of clouds color and lights. It was if the sun itself was giving everything it had to make this day better for me.

As i watch the sun setting in the distance i kept admiring the shuffling clouds and colors that were shown everywhere in a presentation fitting for kings and people of great prominence. As i looked up in awe the colors last as long as they could even as the sun had already set and night started to take over the land and sweep the beautiful array of what little color there was. I thought to myself there is only one thing that is missing from all the beauty i saw today, and as i looked up there they were. It was if the night did not want to be outdone by the day and to prove it could show something worth admiring as well. In the very first bit of night sky, before the stars came out, the clouds cleared and two planets perfectly aligned to show there respects as well.

No better day could there have been. The solar system, with the grace of the Universe, showed its respect as well. As i looked up and watch the two bright lights in the sky, I realized this was a great day. I thought no better day could there have been, and with that i am at peace with everything.
