About Me

The pursuit of happiness~

"My culture gives me fire. My people give me strength. My words are a declaration of will. My work and my actions are a shout out to the world that no one is going to tell me what to do."

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Host & Couchsurf

It started off when a family friend from New York hooked me up with a housekeeping gig over the summer. From then on, I've met so many travelers like myself who've CSed and have hosted for others and have had a positive experience.

I've had a great CS experience during my travels so far and also having the opportunity to give back the generosity they've given to me thus far.

I love art & technology.

I especially love live music, hitting up a local show or music festival during my travels is my style. I'm also very interested in history and culture, usually spending my time at museums and galleries all day.

Other days, you'll find me bouldering outdoors or at a rock climbing gym, having fun with new routes and problems.

Music, Movies, and Books

Memoirs of a Geisha, The Alchemist, Wind-Up Bird Chronicles, Predictably Irrational, Eat Pray Love, Sacred Economics, and anything by Jonah Lehrer

Spirited Away, Good Will Hunting, Eternal Sunshine, Chocolat, The Departed, Akira, The Chef From South Polar, all romantic comedies, i think i watched 21 Jump Street about seven times...

Jackass, Arrested Development, Freaks & Geeks, Always Sunny, True Blood, The Pitch, The Office, and i'm already waiting for season 2 of Game of Thrones

Band of Horses, Les Savy Fav, Copeland, Washed Out, Wild Nothing, Nirvana, Thee Oh Sees, Tribe Called Quest, The Specials, Craft Spells, Keane, Hellogoodbye, Memory Tapes, Mew, and Kanye West (guilty pleasure)
