ABOUT ME

Hi there! I'm Viona, 23 years and from Belgium. At the moment I'm experiencing a very exciting year: for over 10 months I am living & studying in 4 different cities in 4 different countries. At the moment I'm living in Tallinn, before I resided in Brussels, Tilburg and Manchester. The master is called European Urban Cultures, and that's what's it all about. I'm interested in urbanism, the livability of a city and I love to cycle in a city. Besides urban affairs I really enjoy listening to music and going to gigs, my taste of music is widespread and broad. I try to live life with an open mind, although that I'm conscious that it's easier to say you're open minded than that you actually are it.

Besides studying I like to travel (and what better than traveling because of studying?) and to get in touch with different cultures, languages,... I like art, music, beer, partying, green, cycling, food, books and a whole lot more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Extremely loud and incredibly close from Jonathan Safran Foer is my all time favourite book. A must read for everyone in my opinion. Besides that I try to read as much as possible, but the problem is that I have too less time to read and that there are too many good books. So at the moment I'm reading 5 or more books at the same time, trying to finish them all (but failing).
Oh, and about music. My taste in music is really broad and hard to define in some words. I like discovering new artists, genres,... and my conclusion is always that there is too much music in the universe, and that I probably didn't discovered the best yet. So if you know some really good bands or artists that you want to share with me: don't hesitate!
When I watch a movie I prefer a good quality one. I used to be (and still am) a big Quentin Tarantino fan.
