Traveling in the winter and gardening in the summer frames our lives. We are blessed with a wonderful friends a 27 year old daughter and beloved dog and cat.

Music, Movies, and Books

Growing up in the 60's makes me partial to all things rock and roll but also like folk songs and almost everything Cuban. I love movies but the nearest theatre is 2 hours away.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago our provincial government was giving away creeks to corporations to build Independent Power Projects. The one nearest us wanted to drill 2 tunnels the size of a big bus through 2 of our mountains and then divert the creek into another area. It would have destroyed a large area of our wilderness, affected the grizzly bears etc and the habitat of a red listed fish species. A friend and I organized a conference around water and the movement exploded from there and that project WENT DOWN! We all felt very empowered.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share what I have learned in my life about bodies, skeletons and movement. My career started with massage (in the 70's)(when being a massage therapist was a little iffy. ) After a few bad experiences I went into Rolfing ...after 18 years of this very heavy duty work I was in chronic pain. A client offered to send me to Feldenkrais School. It was life changing and 19 years later I am still enthralled with the depth of this work and how it can change people's lives.

My husband Richard is an artist, carpenter and has a very good eye for beauty, color and proportion. He has built us a beautiful home, a studio/shop and barn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share Feldenkrais with any hosts who are interested...and if you have building projects I am sure Richard could advise you.
