About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to enjoy the life I have been given.

ABOUT ME

country loving, coffee drinking, cake making townie living in the middle of nowhere! Loves to travel and explore the world. Visited India for the first time this year and loved it. This year I have really got into growing my own veggies and love nothing more than getting out there and watching (and helping) my carrots, leeks, onions, potatoes etc etc grow!

PHILOSOPHY

Kindness counts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to Couch Surfing and am keen to respect others' boundaries. I am up for a chat and a coffee and am flexible. I am intuitive and like to go with the flow.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none as yet although I have slept on various couches in the past!

Interests

baking, cooking, entertaining, growing veggies, walking, sailing (although I haven't sailed in a few years now, sadly) sitting on the beach, movies, theatre, music.

Music, Movies, and Books

my husband and I are working our way slowly through the top 100 films of all time (according to us and our mates!). I love all sorts of music from show tunes to classical and everything in between. Although I'm not a fan of heavy rock!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lived in USA (3 years), Colombia (2 years) Costa Rica (2 years), Guatemala (5 months), Panama, Cuba, Portugal (1 year), France and Germany. I have been to over 20 countries. Travel is definitely in my DNA! The Grand Canyon has to be 'up there' as well as my recent trip to India.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn from experienced gardeners, particularly about organic gardening.
