ABOUT ME

Hello!
I heard about this site a few years ago from a friend who enjoyed meeting new people and helping people out. I think it's a great idea and I am soon heading to Brunei and hoped I might be able to find someone here who wouldn't mind meeting me and showing me around for an evening! If they had a couch too, well wouldn't that be nice...I'd really just like to know someone who would like to go out for a beer and dinner and maybe show me a few sights. I would be more than happy to return the favour if they ever came to Australia.
After I finished University in the UK and moved to Japan and lived there as an English Teacher in a private school teaching British English. These were some of the best years of my life so far and I met some great people, made good friends and it really changed my perspective on life!

I'm a happy, funny nice guy who loves meeting new people from different backgrounds, cultures and countries. I hope as I continue to travel, I'll meet as many more great, interesting and kind people as I have in the past. Maybe this website will help me do that!

Too many movies to mention. I'm a terrible reader...I have the concentration of a 3 year old. Music is great....but I could live without it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in the 2004 Tsunami. I've met a Russian Cosmonaut. I've partied hard with Celebrities in Tokyo...including the Black Eyed Peas, Courtney Love, Blur and Snow Patrol! I've been diving among sharks. I've had a life threatening operation. I sand surfed in the Sahara. I've found a book signed and illustrated by Napoleon. I've seen Ramesses II's Mummy, one of Egypts most revered Pharoahs.
