About Me

Hi,
I'm Suza.
I love travelling. I love adventures. I love to explore the world.
I also like to meet people and to get to know their culture and there stories. But now you maybe think I need company. That's not true. I can perfectly be alone and sometimes I prefer to be alone but definitely not all the time.

So next to the traveller, I'm a student.
I'm studying art-therapies. A study about what art can do to people their health and how you can help people grow or heal or become balanced by doing art.
For my intern-ships I've been working with mentally disabled people(children and adults) and I've been working with adolescents with psychiatric-problems.

For my work I've been tutor or coach for guy's with special needs, I've been building festivals and decoration and I have had plenty of temporary jobs like babysitting, housecleaning etc.

There is plenty more thins I do voluntarily, for example organizing things for TransitionTownZaanstreek or cooking for DIY-dinnercafé's, doing fire-blowing at festivals building decoration for festivals(werktuig.org)ect. but if you want, you can find out about that more if we meet(if you like).

ow and I like to do rockclimbing a lot! but we have no rocks here around, only rockclimbinggym's but that's less fun...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've done some trips alone and some together with friends. On these trips I found out that most meaningful moments I've shared with others. And the best adventures where unexpected.
I've been hitch-hiking around quite a bit and sometimes I got invited in people their houses. They told me lovely stories about their lives and their country, culture or cities. For me it was great to hear, and the others seemed to enjoyed as well so to me this felt like a great exchange.
And now this sounds a bit the same as couch-surfing to me so why don't try it?

Interests

Art(making art, watching art), travelling, rock climbing with friends, nature, hiking, working on the vegetable garden, cooking(vegan normally), building decoration for festivals together with friends. Oh, and I love camp-fires! and to cook on them with a lot of friends and listen to each others stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been in New-Zealand for half a year.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like cooking for other people although I never use meet or fish and most often not even milk or cheese;) I can tell my stories and adventures and listen to yours.
I can make you a painting or drawing if I'm in the mood and have enough time. (don't push me, I can't work with pressure)
and I could even do some coaching when you have problems with yourself I guess. I've been doing coaching with art before for my study. I coached two people who wanted to find out what they are good at and what they really want to do in their lives(work related) but than I first need to meet you.
