About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find a niche in Latin America...become involved in environmental education....learn spanish and dance more!!

ABOUT ME

I'm a Kiwi girl, who has recently gravitated back to Latin America, a place deep in my heart! I am passionate for traveling, learning, discovery and friendships and love the idea of living and working around the world, experiencing new places and cultures...while also having a base in gorgeous NZ and Australia.
I can't wait to focus my energy on the environment, inspiring changed minds and things that really matter.
I love to learn Spanish, dance, teach, meet inspiring people, explore and be surrounded by the rainforest and ocean...ahhhhh that's serenity! Oceans, mountains, greenery and people bring me alive!

PHILOSOPHY

I value and enjoy this amazing world we live in! There are so many incredible people and experiences to have. Learn, learn, learn from all opportunities.
I try to bring happiness and joy to others. Live with compassion and awareness. Give and love without expectation!...and not be afraid to venture into the unknown.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I don't have a house to host people, but would love to when i return to Australia. I plan to CouchSurf as I continue traveling through Central America and beyond...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since June I have had the pleasure of living with my good friend in Costa Rica who hosts CouchSurfers. I have enjoyed meeting such different people, and have had a great introduction to the concept. I have only been a guest once, but look forward to many more as I continue my travels.

Interests

Travel, adventure, camping, hiking, everything green, beach volleyball, nature, animals, dancing, people, oceans, volunteering, list making, anything active, old buildings, history, diving, listening, learning and discovery...

Music, Movies & Books

Movies with twists, that keep me awake(if there is a couch involved I usually fall asleep). Old classics.

I love most music, especially that which I can sing aloud to, dance to and gets me going. Acoustic sets, Latino, lounge, songs that bring back gr8 memories...

Books that teach me. History, culture, nature, people, love, new ways of thinking, true events, life stories. All swinging in a hammock!

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Worked with pumas in the Bolivian jungle and sailed across the Pacific ocean in a 37ft yacht.
....still yet to see Galapagos and Great Pyramid of Giza.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you all about working with pumas!
I would love to learn more about Latin American natural history, science (I have realised recently that I need a crash course!), Spanish, photography, yoga, spirituality, be more creative and to finally learn how to play the guitar... amongst a myriad of other things!
