Me and my Boyfriend Darren are on an adventure through Central and South America, starting in Costa Rica in March 2015. We will be in Panama in May and June 2015. We are open minded, active, friendly, creative and hard working people who hope to meet some brilliant people and explore the beautiful vibrant landscape. We're volunteering and working throughout our travels but at times hope to do a bit of couch surfing too to keep meeting new people!

At home in England, Suzie worked in Digital Marketing - but her passions for Yoga, healthy cooking and painting drew her away from her desk to travel and explore her real interests. Suzie has just secured a 200 hour yoga teacher certificate whilst in Costa Rica, so is certified to teach Yoga as we travel and has already had some great experience teaching classes at a Hostel in Panama. Suzie is creative and loves drawing and painting too.

At home, Darren works as a School teacher and is really keen to use and enhance his teaching skills while we're travelling. Darren can juggle, a skill he learnt whlist travelling through India a couple of years ago...! He has also just discovered a love of Surfing and would like to do more of this!

We're both hoping to learn Spanish too, so far we've picked up a little but we have a long way to go!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We hope to travel for a year - so we're on a pretty tight shoestring! More than anything though we're just keen to meet some cool people and get to know the countries we're visiting by meeting locals and getting recommendations from people who know and love their home town.

Interests
