About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see as much of the world as possible, in as unpredictable a way as possible- seeing some places recommended in the guidebooks, but equally as many that might normally be overlooked

ABOUT ME

I am a dual national, British and Hungarian, who lives to the full, enjoys the finer things in life, and enjoys travelling whenever time and money allows. Even if your home area isnt listed on my "must see" places- drop me a line, and maybe something I didn't know about before will appeal to me

PHILOSOPHY

Live each day as if it were your last. Remember that you're always more likely to regret the things you didn't do rather than the ones you did- so grasp life's opportunities with both hands!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Folk (esp Irish), Country, Jazz, Blues (check out Hungarian legend Deak Bill Gyula on searches)
Movies: All time favourites- Original Clash of the Titans, The Great Cerruso,
Books: Thomas Hardy, Charles Dickens, Ivan Turgenev, Dostoyevsky, Tom Holt, Edward Rutherfurd

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teaching English in Hungary for four years was a great experience. I covered state schools, private language schools, businesses, private one-to-one tuition, and in so doing had students from all ages from 6 to 56.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am fascinated by endangered languages- hence the reason I studied Cornish for first grade exam, to help contribute to the numbers when their funding was being determined. I am involved in pub quizzes and said to be a mine of useless- though often fun- information

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Ireland, Malta, Spain, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Hungary
