About Me

I AM NOT HOSTING BEFORE THE MIDDLE OF MARCH, SORRY!
BUT MAYBE I CAN SHOW YOU THE CITY

I am a writer and a teacher of creative writing.
I dance lindy hop, love to take long walks and to have long talks.
Couchsurfing for me is about sharing stories and experiences, and homes, of course :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have an inexhaustible interest in people and in beauty of all types.

Interests

I love to talk to people and to listen to their life stories.

And to sit with a guitar near a fire, to hike in mountains, to ride a bike in a silent night, to drink water from clean and cold mountain streams, to laugh, and laugh, and laugh a little bit more :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the poetry of Federico Garcia Lorka, "Letters to a young poet" by Rilke, "Screwtape Letters" by C.S. Lewis, poems of Marina Tsvetaeva, of course, Ghete, Marc Chagall's paintings (and music that plays from them), Van Gogh, Michelangelo and so much more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch-hicked through all Siberia to the Baikal lake way and back, 12 000 km. For 2 months, with a tent, and a friend, and 100$ in a pocket. Cooked on a fire. It was a wonderful time.

Stopped working, renting an apartment and all this stuff in order to move to Moscow and study creative writing. It turned out to be 5 happy years full of gratitude.

Published a book. Walked Camino de Santiago.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Russian, literature or creative writing. And maybe some dancing as well. I love to share a good talk and a cup of tea.
