currently travelling in south america looking to improve my spanish, absorb some culture, eat some good grub, drink some good wine, make some new friends, get a sun tan and have a fun time

i promote the website to people whenever possible and if/when i ever settle down in a city i will certainly be opening up my couch/spare bed/futon/floor/bathroom floor to everyone

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my couch surfing experiences have been relegated to surfing and hosting with people that i already know in the US. hosting while i lived in san fran and in nantucket, and surfing in southern cali, boston and new york. looking to expand my couch surfing perspective

Música, películas y libros

a big fan of literature and music... favorites include steinbeck and kerouak. love dancing and getting down to electronic music but my ipod is much more diverse. lots of indie rock, blues, reggae, etc. big on the newish bands putting out what i´d call electronic pop rock including passion pit, discovery, empire of the sun, cut copy, phoenix, etc

shared reefer and a snickers by candle light in a shack at the top of a mountain during an overnight stay in the foothills of the himalayas in nepal during a thunder storm while playing board games w/ two 60 year olds nepalese woman, their 6 year old grandaughter (who was not smoking of course) an older french traveller and a canadian friend of mine
