About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy what I have

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going person. Some of the things I enjoy most are music, good food, lively conversation, and riding my bike. A perfect day would include all of those things in some combination. I want to lead a peaceful life and to appreciate both the extraordinary and the commonplace parts of it. My goal is to feel at peace with myself and with the world... really it's an ongoing process rather than a goal. I want to see as much of the world as I can and to experience it with kind and honest people.

PHILOSOPHY

Never stop actively learning.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I created my CouchSurfing profile before going abroad to Japan. I've met several great people from multiple countries as hosts, surfers, and friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met incredibly kind and adventurous people who affirmed my belief that the CouchSurfing community contains some amazing people. Everyone can share, and everyone wins. CouchSurfing is as pure an experience as I've had.

Interests

Music appreciation and performance, foreign culture, good food, beer (a little or a lot), coffee, cooking, (road)biking, travel, biology, reading, movies, nature.

Music, Movies & Books

Carrying mikoshi and drinking far too much sake out of a giant bottle in a local festival in Onuma, Hokkaido, Japan
