Working for a start-up that helps stroke patients regain the ability to walk: www.ability-switzerland.com
I love travelling, playing violin, reading, photography, motorcycling, I love Wes Anderson movies, always read 4 books at the same time, and you will have a hard time ever finding me in a bad mood.
I love couchsurfing because it connects like-minded people who dig travelling, meeting new faces, sharing stories, and have a sense of meaningful adventure.
I pretend to not have a major grand scheme in my head that can be summarized in a few phrases, but here's a few of my favorite quotes:
"Hate the sin, love the sinner"
"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former"
"To achieve great things, two things are needed; a plan, and not quite enough time."
"The higher the monkey climbs, the more you see of his ass"
(General Joe Stillwell)
"If this is coffee, please bring me some tea; but if this is tea, please bring me some coffee."
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."
(Thomas A. Edison)
"I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by."
"Life is short. Break the Rules. Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly. Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that makes you smile"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted a bunch of people in Boston over the years and surfed a few times while on vacation or on business trips. I am currently living in a shared house with roommates in Switzerland so can't host right now :(
so far, only awesome and awesome plus. I made some amazing friends while couchsurfing or hosting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been lucky enough to have been to Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Chile, Russia, France, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Latvia, Serbia, Spain, Greece, Austria, and several other European countries. My last job allowed me to travel all over the place in the US and Canada. Right now I'm finally taking time off to only travel.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play the Violin, how to produce biopharmaceuticals, how to speak Swiss-German, how to administer foreign aid, how to crawl, how to cure back pain, and I can tell you how to invest your money, how to tell lie from truth, any there's more but if I told you I would have to kill you.
I want to learn every language I can get a hold of, I want to learn to dance, I want to be able to cook better, to meet people from all over the world. I also want to learn how to build a house, and how to whistle with two fingers in my mouth.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, brain teasers, music, pictures, book tips (in dire need of some right now!), board games, wine bottles,
