In 2007 my country Kenya was in political turmoil..and we ended up having refugees amidst i got together with a group of friends, headed down to Naivasha at the IDP camp..taught the women how to make carpets, and sell them and be able to earn a living for themselves instead of depending in handouts and donor funding...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

well the most amazing thing i think i ever did was give hope to a few refugee women..teaching them to make carpets and seeing the smiles on their face knowing they are worth something, was just so priceless to me

Teach, Learn, Share

Well i have a little secret..God blessed me with hands..and there are alot of things we can do with them.from creating beautiful art,to beautiful carpets..i believe our hands are more precious than any gem there is..we just need to take advantage of them and look around and create something out of nothing...
