CURRENT MISSION

My goal in life is to become a physician that works for underserved populations around the world. Pretty much everything I do in life is dedicated to achieving this dream.

ABOUT ME

After finishing up two years of work in a medical laboratory (where I conducted research in the field of diabetic nephropathy), I decided to move to France where I am currently teaching English at a high school in Lille. I am trying to pursue my passion for travel before I dedicate my life to four years of medical school.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently live in a small room with no kitchen, so it's a bit difficult to host at the moment. For now, I'm using this site as a way to meet new people during my travels. I'm moving to Brooklyn in August, so maybe I'll be able to host some people then.

Intereses

I love to read, draw, listen to/play music, travel, hike (anything outdoors, really), visit art museums, and find myself in new or interesting situations.

I have a diverse set of musical interests. Some of my favorites include Radiohead, Dvorak, and Joanna Newsom.

The most recent book I read was Lolita by Nabokov, and I'm currently working on Slaughterhouse-Five by Vonnegut.

I've never been a big movie or TV person.

Algo increíble que he hecho

A friend and I once took a one-way flight from Ghana to South Africa via Nigeria, without any hotels booked. Once we got to ZA, we rented a car and road tripped to the national park where we went on a 5 day safari (in said rented car). It ended up being one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
