About Me

Hi!

I am an spontaneous, easy-going and open minded Person. I am working on really being conscious about how happy I am, and being grateful for what I have. I can get a little bit crazy about maths and other natural sciences sometimes, but mostly with people who are equally crazy about that stuff.

In 2016, I did my High School Diploma, and had the first chances, to really travel on my own. I did some trips in Europe in the Summer and then left off to Burkina Faso to do some volunteer work. After that, I had the chance to go to Canada for Work and Travel.

After that, I started to study maths in Göttingen.

I am looking forward to do more trips, to get to know more parts of the world. I am interested in learning how people live and how their culture is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I never had the chance to couchsurf myself, but everyone I met was so joyful about it. I really like the idea that you get to know city from a locals view, and not only as a tourist. Everytime I had the chance that a friend would show me around a new place, I just experience so much more of the city than I would ever had on my one.

Music, Movies, and Books

I think my all time favorite book is Jim Knopf und Lukas der Lokomotivführer ("Jim Button and Luke the Engine Driver") by Michael Ende. I think this book offers so many different ways of seing it, that although it is a childrens book, and I loved it as a child, I still find a new perspective every time I read it!

I do a lot of other reading to get my head off other things, so a lot of books I enjoy are not to complicated easy going dramas or novels. But I would read a lot of different stuff, if the first couple of chapters hook me!

With movies it is similar, as I mostly watch them to relax. So a good drama or a romantic comedy is my thing. Lately, if been pretty amazed by "the Imitation Game", and "a Beautiful Mind".

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook and bake and it would be my pleasure to teach you German recipes or learn your favorate dish!
