ABOUT ME

Hi everybody!
My name is Tachnee Dooms and I'm a girl from Belgium!
In 2009-2010 I lived a year in Peru with a peruvian family and had an awesome time over there.
Now, 5 years later, I am moving to New-Zealand (after I have been gratuated and having worked 11 months) to life and work down under.

I hope to meet new people who can show me the beautiful non-touristic places!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Montpellier I stayed with 2 different CS couples and I had an awesome time!
I also had a great experience in Czech Republic.

Interests

I love to sport: dancing (ballet, salsa), swimming, surfing, snowboarding, running,...
and off course also to travel around!

I love latin amercian music, but also the commercial R&B.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen whole Peru,
Machu picchu, Iquitos -the amazone-, the highest mountain in Peru, did a trekking above 4000 m.
It was really beautiful!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn about the culture of the land where I am, to eat the typical food, not the commercial touristic food.
To know the habbits of the local people, to feel like I am a part of the community, not like a tourist.
And the different ways of life.
