CURRENT MISSION

I am currently fulfilling a lifelong dream to backpack through Europe, and am taking a break from working to make this dream a reality. I will depart my hometown of Portland, Oregon on April 30th, and return home sometime around July 21st.

ABOUT ME

I am a very easy going and laid back young professional who is taking time off from work to fulfill a life-long dream of backpacking Europe. I look forward to to learning from new people, places, and cultures during my three months of backpacking Europe before returning home to the states. I'll mostly be staying in hostels, but I'd also love to stay with some of the locals as well not only because I'm on a budget, but so I can learn more about the sights to see, food to eat, and great beer and wine to drink.

I am new to couch surfing and want to try my luck at finding lodging and building my global network with new friends. When I return home I would like to have a place available for fellow travelers with similar goals.

I would love to improve my Spanish speaking skills as I only have an elementary level of speaking, at best.

I have worked in the world of Sports Marketing and Advertising my entire life and am a pretty savvy business-minded person who can share knowledge in that field for those who are interested. I have worked for the Portland Timbers (US Major League Soccer Team), the Portland Winterhawks (US Junior Jockey Team), the University of Oregon Ducks (NCAA collegiate athletic program), and the University of Minnesota Gophers (NCAA program as well).
