Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch Surfing is perfect! It combines traveling to the areas I want to visit with the culture of staying with real local people!

I'm twenty five and my love of comfortable surroundings has kept me back from traveling far. I know what kind of life I want.
I want to be able to eventually live out of a backpack. I want to immerse myself in other cultures. I want to capture life at it's best and worst and sculpt it into something beautiful through writing, poetry and photography. I want to hear stories and learn lessons. I want to learn about culture and honor faiths and traditions.

Then, when I'm satisfied I want to host my own guests, tell them what I have learned and pass on knowledge and culture picked up from my own travels.

Interests

My deep affection for Creative Writing and for words is the part of me that attached itself to my tiny self, never to come loose well into my adulthood.

World building for me is creating the lore around a fictional story. The history, culture, social norms, political bias, geography, etc. I can talk your ear off with that stuff. It is the part of creating fiction that I find most interesting!

I'm also interested in photography. I'm an amateur, I use Lightroom. I enjoy it! I think it's saturation and colour that I like to play with.

I hope that I can combine these lifestyles together by travelling to disaster zones - current and historical.
