About Me

PHILOSOPHY

I'll just give you some of my favorite quotes and you can figure what you will with em:
"But in reality there is nothing more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future." - Christopher McCandless/Alexander Supertramp
"If the day and the night are such that you greet them with joy, and life emits a fragrance like flowers and sweet-scented herbs, is more elastic, more starry, more immortal- that is your success. All nature is your congratulation, and you have cause momentarily to bless yourself." - Henry David Thoreau
I believe in change, new experiences, and an open-mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've yet to gain any couch surfing experiences either hosting or surfing. Been a bit caught up taking classes in Bellingham, WA. but am super down to have any chill folks utilize my couch, and stoked to have that experience reciprocated.

Interests

Traveling is by far my favorite past time, although it's rare that I can afford it and/or have the time since I'm a full time student studying Sociology, Political Science, and Spanish. I also love to ride bikes, and enjoy just about every kind of outdoor activity. Being newly 21, I'm also a fan of hitting up the bars with friends. Shows, concerts, spoken word, and festivals of all kinds, are some of my favorite things to participate in/go to. Anything involving (vegetarian) food is of interest to me!

Music, Movies, and Books

In terms of movies, I'm a big fan of dark dramas and indie flicks. Some of my favorites include Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Sin Nombre, Into the Wild, The Wackness, and Mean Creek.
Some books I really enjoy include On the Road by Jack Kerouac, Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer (the book is better than the movie although both are great), A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, and Middle Sex by Jeffrey Eugenides.
I'm down with nearly all kinds of music; anything from classic rock, indie/alternative rock, hip-hop, rap, to folk, and anything in between.
