ABOUT ME

I grew up moving around Europe with my familiy, so I figured - why stop now?! :D And although I am madly and unreasonably in love with my recently adopted hometown Zagreb, it`s one of those on-and-off realtionships. The current dilemma I`m trying to resolve is whether I want to live in New York or Barcelona next. ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As much as I love being in foreign towns and countries, I think it`s almost as much fun to show your own town to other people and seeing it with different eyes every time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just had my first surfing experience and I loved it! I traveled with a friend around different places in Andalucía and was hosted by three different hosts. I am amazed by how easy it is to meet local people and become friends with them thanks to CS. The generosity and open-mindedness which I experienced from my hosts inspired me to want to start hosting myself.

Interests

Coffee. All types and sizes. Anywhere, anytime.
Sports. To spend the energy from all that caffeine, I guess XD
Finding songs to complete te compilation for the soundtrack of my life.
Trying not to forget everything I learned in piano lessons and singing along loundly while playing when nobody`s around.
Big cities and lonely islands.
Boats.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies which are made in places I`ve seen in real life and books about places I`ve lived. After coming home I tend to lose myself in nostalgic fictional travels by means of contemporary literature and movies without a story line.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing things can be at the same time the most usual ones if only you learn to appreciate the little things that really count
