ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going 30 year old Aussie who enjoys hanging out with friends and generally having a good time. I don't mind an occasional drink and a good laugh (especially at myself!). I'm a great lover of animals, and love socialising and meeting new people. I've had so much fun traveling, and would like to keep in touch with the traveling side of life until my next venture (whatever that may be!).Traveling has taught me heaps about myself and about others. I'm thankful of my experiences, the people I've met along the way and the things I have learnt about life in general.

Interessen

I prefer the outdoors, and love the beach, photography, horse riding and camping (although it's been a long time!).
I love music and seeing bands, and also don't mind a sing along (especially after a few pints when you think you sound better than you actually do!). I am also a big lover of animals.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My taste in music is pretty varied because I like a bit of everything (except Opera), however, I love the John Butler Trio, Jimmy Barnes (as an Aussie,you gotta love him!), and I'm really liking Mika at the moment. My ipod is in need of serious updating though!
I tend to go through phases with reading, but my favorite author is Dean Koontz.
My favorite movie would have to be Snatch, and I absolutely love the series Black Books, but no one in the UK really likes it - Why?!!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

The most amazing experience for me was spending 7 days in the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai. I have always loved elephants, and have wanted to do volunteer work with them since I saw a show on tv when I was 12. Everyday, we would prepare their food, and then hand feed them. After their feed, we then walked with them to the river to give them a scrub and swim with them. It sure kicks butt over sitting at a computer! Getting a kiss on the cheek from a baby elephant was pretty special too!
