About Me

I am an Analyst living and working in New Delhi, where I was born and brought up. I love to read, make friends, and want to help every child get access to an excellent education (for which I volunteer and would want to work on it full time soon).

I love to meditate, I believe in the law of attraction, and believe that it's most important to stay happy always!

I have been saving up for travelling for a while, and finally decided to do it! I am waiting to see the places I have never seen, and meet the people I have never met!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to host people and be hosted to do more than just seeing new places - would love to share ideas, experiences, make conversations and be able to get a real feel of each city that I visit and its people. Couchsurf is a brilliant way to connect with the world on a more personal level.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - Gone With the Wind, To Kill a Mockingbird, Matilda, Atlas Shrugged, and many many more. I love classical literature!

Music - Beatles, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Eagles, Elvis Presley

Movies - The Pursuit of Happyness, The Devil Wears Prada, and a lot of Shah Rukh Khan movies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled alone to Europe!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share about the Indian culture and love to learn about the host's culture, how they live, the places they travel to, their interests, their outlook towards life. Would love to have interesting conversations and gain new perspectives about life.

I learn Kathak, an Indian classical dance form and am also learning to cook. Would love to cook an Indian meal for the host family!

I can also tie a saree for the ladies in house, haha!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bhutan, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Nepal, Singapore
