Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Would love to have a couch for you to stay on, but we are on the move...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are two couchsurfing virgins. Thought it would be a good way to meet people along the way from NY to Cali. Have a couple friends who are experienced couchsurfers with great experiences.

Interests

Babacar is a professional Djembe drummer from Senegal, West Africa and Tanya is learning the dance to accompany. Babacar also paints traditional West African style acrylic on canvas. Both are spiritualists and love mother nature. Reggae is our music. Lived together 3 years in Senegal, married two years, have been in Tanya's hometown in New York for 10 months and are now moving to California...roadtrip style. Hope to see many of this lands many wonders mostly along rt.20 up North...and hope to make many wonderful friends along the way. First Stop, Niagra Falls, we would love a couch or a floor to sleep on Thursday the 13th...as the camping seems to be more tourism than camping there... As far as the rest of the trip goes we may not need a couch, mostly we will be camping, as we love to be close to nature...but a campsite suggestion and getting to know you would be good. Build the world community- one love.
