About Me

I'm a 24-yr-old science, travel, & food nerd who can't seem to sit still in one place for too long.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's about time I join! Because I love meeting new people, seeing new places, and learning about different cultures of course!

Interests

I absolutely love to cook, try new restaurants/cafes/cuisines, and have outrageous dinner parties with my friends and family. I have a Greek family that taught me food is love, and you're not eating enough! But to balance all of that out, I like to stay active and have been getting into yoga.

After getting out of Chicago (my hometown), I've begun to experience all of the great things the outdoors and nature has to offer. I now am trying to learn as much as I can about it (ask me about my research!) and I like being outside as much as possible - whether that means walking instead of taking the bus, biking, going on hikes, or just sitting in a beautiful place.

I'm fascinated by people! I love that no matter where I meet new people, I find we're all fundamentally the same and can find something in common. I also "study" reality TV ;)

I simply just like to experience new things as often as I can. I'm most happy when I can shake things up and get a little fear and adrenaline in me. Most recently I've tried skiing & rock climbing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed on a small research island in the Great Barrier Reef for 2 weeks. Very remote beautiful place with nothing but cooking, snorkeling, and science-ing with a group of amazing Australians! :)
