Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

love to participate, i guess it depends on the situation. although neither of us are really into sports unless were on the beach or the group was really up for throwing frizbee or something

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've mainly had friends & friends of friends staying at ours in London, or we'd do the same by staying in other countries to save money and generally have a better experience although this was all doe through word of mouth, email and the people in our network.

We are now traveling the world & are looking to experience the couch surfing way of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - classics, new wave, art house & aeroplane blockbusters + we saw the new 007 film & loved it.

Music - don't like the current POP , prefer teh POP of the past / rock, classic, contemporary & generally like tasteful 40's,50's,60's,70's,80's & 90's (not so clued up on the more recent bands, although Tara likes Beyonce too)

Books: just read 'White Tiger' but have some great audiobooks which are on the list: learm spanish fast & easy, Heart of Darkness, the teachings of Don Juan & Roald Dahl.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

riding a motorbike through the himalaya's & snorkelling amongst colourful tropical fish in the Andaman Islands & a 2 day boat ride with a local fisherman in his wooden longboat up the Nam tha river in Laos.

Share / teach: we can cook & share our experiences through cuisine + info & logistics on the countries we have lived in or travelled through as well as share our fashion and product experience for anyone interested. If you're up for learning English we can try help

Learn: we're up for anything, would be great to get an insight into the hidden 'gems' of your city or places you've been and would recommend. learning spanish would be great we'd also like to try new cooking styles & local food.
