About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy the little things in life and always notice the details. Living boldly and having grand adventures.
ABOUT ME
I have spent my life traveling from place to place and as I get older hope to continue to have adventures. I yearn for travel like one yearns for breath and as i finish my degree I am thrilled that I will have the means to get out and experience more of life. I love the arts, music, film and photography and try to partake as time allows. I love coffee and wine, good food and cooking. I enjoy camping, hiking, kayaking and biking. There is so much to enjoy in the outdoors, in each culture, and in the people we meet. I have spent time in nicaragua on a medical mission trip to provide physical therapy to those who cannot afford it, spend time in india shadowing an orthopedic surgeon, learning about the culture and other peers who were eager to do the same. I went to austria on a choir tour to share american spiritual music to another culture. I have loved all these experience and cannot wait to have more.
PHILOSOPHY
"The only dream worth having is to dream that you will live while you're alive and die only when you're dead. To love, to be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest place. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never forget."
