One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well...i'm not too sure. I was an exchange student before i started college. I was in the U.K. for about a year. I lived with a local family, when to a local school...that sort of thing.

Zack and i however, had the honour of sharing a little bit of Malaysia with a couple from the U.K when they were visiting Cherating(a little beach near where we study). We knew the challet owner personally and would go there whenever we wanted to take a break. Emma & Carl(the British couple) wanted to do what most tourist did...see the batiks, try local food, and all that. So as local, we showed them around. We took them to our favourite places where you could get good stuff at a much lower price. And we cooked for them some local delights. Let them taste some local fruits...explain to them more about our country and all that.

That's the one thing I would have to agree on...is if you know a local who knows and is willing to show you around...it's fun. You get more experience out of it then if you were to join a regular tour group.

We had fun & i knew Emma & Carl had fun...so it was good all around~
