Weightlifting and yoga are my two favorite hobbies. Reading is a close third.

I enjoy traveling, but I don't get to do it as much as I'd like to.

I'm fairly outgoing, and usually up for trying anything once. (Except maybe base jumping.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing primarily because my friend had me join before we went to China for two weeks in 2014.

Now I'm using it to scout out potential English-speaking friends in Japan. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Haruki Murakami is my favorite fiction author. If pressed to pick a favorite book from his catalog, I would probably choose Hardboiled Wonderland and the End of the World.

Movies: Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Burn After Reading, The Lives of Others, Milk. I like Jim Jarmusch and Gus Van Sant movies in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to China in 2014! :) It was a great experience, and it was a deep-end style adventure for my first international trip.
