Overview
About Me
I am currently a civil engineering student at McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario. I am in my third year of five and enjoy the environmental and water quality aspects involved with my program.
I like cats and can play piano (though not as well as I used to!). I have a knack for making playlists for any occasion... it's a fun hobby of mine. I like getting involved with politics and in general being socially conscious.
I get my travel bug from my parents who have been almost everywhere in Asia aside from the Korean states. My dad is a city boy who enjoys his five star resorts... but I am perfectly content with the comfort of a couch :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I went to San Francisco last summer and it was so expensive! I was in love with the city and going there inspired me to visit and travel more. I have heard about couch surfing from a friend and in general, I hear nothing but positive things about the amazing community who gathers here. Currently, I am living either at my student house or with my parents and I don't have the opportunity to host people.
I hope one day I will be able to repay all those who have hosted me! I love getting to know people and getting to see a city's point of view from someone who knows it well is an awesome experience.
