Hello! My name is Taylor, I'm an aspiring fireman. motivated fun loving happy individual traveling Europe with my long time friend kiara. She is a student in college, pursuing her dream of working with animals. we love bike riding, diving, walking, football, reading, mixed martial arts, soccer, fishing, really anything to do with the outdoors. We are more than willing to help out in exchange for a place to lay our heads. We also can share a bed, couch, floor, etc as we have sleeping bags and a tent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Basically we are traveling Europe trying to spend as little money as possible, as we are on a fairly tight budget. We heard through a few different people that this is a great way to pinch pennies as well as meet and get to know amazing people! We love to meet new people and listen to different perspectives. We also hail from a beautiful small town, San Clemente, CA, and would love to show people around once were back home!

Interests

As I mentioned, we love anything to do with outdoors. In addition, we like cooking, climbing, swimming, motorcycles, and having a good time. We are animal lovers who both would love to work with animals as a career, though we are undecided this far. We also appreciate art and culture of different countries and time periods. Indoor hobbies include reading, playing crbbage listening to music, mariokart, and watching movies.

movies: from scary to tearjerkers, comedy's to dramas. Talladega nights, step brothers, 50 first dates, big daddy, invictus, dark knight, Bruce almighty, airplane, hobbit, shrek, kicking and screaming, Sherlock holmes, Pirates of Caribbean, just to name a few.
Books: the shack, the lord of the rings, a million little pieces, the giver, anything James Patterson, historical literature, fiction, and many many more. We are also more than open to suggestions for all of these!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taylor: Rode a dual sport motorcycle from cabo (tip of baja Mexico) to San Diego California with my father, swam to island on lake bled, got lost in Mexico and found my way home, caught a 300 pound thresher shark, and a semi professional shower singer
Kiara: walked a long section of the Great Wall of china, swam to island on lake bled Slovenia, sailed from San Clemente to Cabo, Mexico, both of us are scuba certified, held a koala, caught a tuna while fishing in Mexico, and a professional shower singer.

(We have both done many more amazing things, and want to add to that list!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm almost fluent in Spanish, and we have quite a few life experiences for our age. Many stories between the two of us, and we always keep an open mind to learning new information. We will share stories in exchange for stories!! We're particularly interested in history and culture of places we stay.

Along with stories we are both very helpful as far as cleaning, organizing, building, etc. ask and you shall receive! We also love to spend time with others and share laughs!
