About Me

I'm an undergrad currently studying Political Science and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with a minor in History.

I love: radical labor history, 19th century French history (particularly the Paris Commune), tea, chihuahuas, leftist politics, reading, cassette tapes, objectively hideous vintage dresses, antiques, coffee, and crafts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always been interested in meeting and connecting with people from different places. As a kid, I frequently communicated with penpals throughout the world and I transitioned into chatting with new people online in my high school years.

Now I want to travel to new places. I don't want to just hit all of the tourist destinations- I want to connect with people who live in those places! There is so much we can learn from each other.

I'm trying to learn French and Spanish right now. I'd really like to practice speaking those languages. I am also willing to help people practice English!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very willing to talk your ear off about Les Miserables and radical labor movements.

I'm a big reader and movie watcher. I'd be so happy to give you suggestions!

I can make some pretty odd (and always vegetarian sorry whoops I've never felt the need to learn how to cook meat) food if that's something you're interested in.

I am also willing to assist in household chores.
