About Me

I consider myself open-minded, imaginative and curious. I find beauty in most places and I look for opportunities to laugh at life. I do my best to live in such a way that supports happy and healthy life on Earth for all. My existence seems to be a balancing act of day dreams and scattered goals.

Lately I find myself shedding fears and self-limiting beliefs, and kicking myself in the ass continually while figuring out what else I want from life.

Do as you do, be as you may... but don't be an ass about it. Respect all forms of life and respect all forms of death. Go with the flow and always try your best.
"All I know is I don't know nothin'!"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people, go places, and to learn and experience things.

Lately, I've gotten my hands on some clay and have been making crystal creations with painted details. I try a new recipe once a week because I'm determined to have mad kitchen skills to nurture loved ones with. I like playing with my camera and leisurely riding my bike. While super inconsistent, my yoga practice might be my absolute favorite thing to do. It isn't rare to find me journaling or doodling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies/Shows: Blue is The Warmest Colour, Wristcutters: A Love Story, Howls Moving Castle, SLC Punk, 180° South, Moonrise Kingdom, and Adventure Time!

Music: Shakey Graves, Corey Harris, Tame Impala, Rising Appalachia, Portugal. The Man, Jesse Woods, Sigur Rós, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros and Bjork... endless love for so much music.

Books: Anything quirky, inspirational and/or about travel, metaphysics, and homesteading.. Recently read Vagina by Naomi Wolf and am currently reading The Zahir by Paulo Coelho

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left my home town with $200 and no plan aside from heading west. (which really consists of lots of amazing things I have done.)

Teach, Learn, Share

We can share stories, meals, rides, laughs and ideas! I can offer some guidance for yoga asana, teach some things about crystals and am would love to cook you a yummy meal.

I seek to learn about nomadic travel, homesteading, language, photography, playing musical instruments, yoga, and writing. Show me your favorite hobby, movie, a favorite part from a favorite book... I'm open to learn just about anything anyone is willing to teach!
