I consider myself open-minded, imaginative and curious. I am an Earth advocate & self-initiated shaman, cultivating balance & clarity through exploration & integration. You could say I'm a romantic-foodie-visionary-cat-person whose spirit is playful and heart is vast.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Expansion and unity.
Shamanism, herbalism, dream exploration, Earth exploration/healing, aromatherapy, holistic health & eco-harmonious lifestyle, conspiracy theories, journaling, Reiki, feng shui, yoga, painting pictures with words, sacred sexuality & a billion other things because there's so much to learn & see & feel!
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Hiatus Kaiyote, Bjork, Adult Jazz, Cotton Jones, Ibeyi, Garth Stevenson... endless love for so much music. Groovin' to world music and tribal fusion-ish stuff a lot lately.
Movies/Shows: Blue is The Warmest Colour, Wristcutters: A Love Story, Howls Moving Castle (Or anything Miazaki!), Hunter x Hunter, Moonrise Kingdom, Adventure Time! and documentaries on nature, travel, human consciousness, environment, etc.
Books: forever juggling multiple books! Recently finished reading The Woman In The Shaman's Body by Barbara Tedlock and currently reading Food Of The Gods by Terrence McKenna and making my way through an encyclopedia of magical herbs!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Left my home town with $200 and no plan aside from heading west (which really consists of lots of amazing/scary/transformative things I have experienced.)
Teach, Learn, Share
We can share stories, myths, hugs, dreams, meals, rides, laughs and ideas! I can offer some guidance for yoga asana, teach some things about crystals and am would love to nourish you with a meal.
I seek to expand my knowledge of anything holistic, magical, and energetic. I'd love to learn eco-village and homesteading knowledge and skills, foraging, how to play the hang drum, how to ride a horse, how to make you laugh.
