Cry of the Kalahari is one of the most recent books Ive read, and has deeply inspired me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Number one was summiting Gibraltar in January, when no one else was there, the a storm had just broken so rainbows were forming and the sun was streaming down through the clouds and I was sitting looking at the top of one continent (Africa) and the bottom of another (Europe) and in one direction was the Mediterranean and the other the vast Atlantic.
