ABOUT ME

The boring stuff first: Professionally, I am a trained Business Analyst, which may include cost analysis (hard costs, plus intrinsics), along with multiple other forms of analyzing organizations, their process & work-flow, the established systems within their entity, management structure (& leadership style), employee satisfaction indexing, marketing, customer / client / patron / member / satisfaction indexing, and the list goes on, and on....

Flew all over North America for a Management Consulting firm, that was headquartered in Park Ridge, IL. However, living in Chicago was unnecessary, as the company kept me 'in the air' from wherever I was at the time (anywhere in continental U.S.) Their western division office was based in Las Vegas, and it is where I reported directly. More recently I've worked for management consulting firms out of Schaumberg, IL, and Birmingham, AL.

Was settled in Northeast Mississippi for past 2.4 years. Now have my new place in Portland, OR.

Always enjoy meeting new and interesting people & discovering new places. Excited to get to make CS friends & exchange great travel stories & information.

Current quest, to fully integrate permanently to the Portland, Oregon area - - - - - who says people's jobs must dictate where they are required to live, when did that rule become common place?

Just got into my new place in Portland last week (Jan. 16, 2015) - so if you need a queen size bed - can sleep either one or two, depending on your needs - i can possibly host. (Please see photos of the place.)

I have every intention to eventually be able to host multiple couchsurfers.....on a regular basis....is so rewarding to finally be growing roots in a local community....Portland area is my home of choice - have traveled here on business multiple times, and loved each time....

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind, respectful, & considerate. Live & let live. Universal Declaration of Human Rights (ca.1948, and gaining momentum)

Listen to others ~ make an effort to determine, where do our paths cross?

Bless everyone & their journey....

HUMAN RIGHTS
i.e. Amnesty International, Human Rights Foundation, United Nations, etc.

Jazz music - can send links of music that may be new to you....maybe never heard before to sample.

Travel, of course.

Education - extreme interest and commitment to get into a PhD program within a short time. Looking at options in conjunction with current professional goals. Am currently involved with starting and running 3 start-ups (one is for profit, the other two are non-profits - learning how to research for and write grants).

Once in hand, the PhD will be instrumental in advancing the causes of international human rights as far as my skills, talents, and abilities will take me.
