About Me

I am a 23 year old collage Student from Bavaria, who is a bit bored by the alps, beer and sauerkraut so I decided exploring ohter countires by visting them myself or let people from abroad stay over.
I am simply interested in meeting new people and getting to know countries from a different point of view than the average "running-after-a-toursit-guide-and-making-selfies-in-front-of-sights" one and I want show my city to others this way as well.
I appreciate a nice chat as well as a night out or insider advice about which spots in the city, or the nature near by, are worth visiting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What makes other countries interesting for me isn´t a different view form a hotel window or a crowded museum full of strangers who know even less about this place than I do. The spots where the real life takes place appeale to me, where people simply enjoy their selfes. Couchsurfing seems perfect for that.

Music, Movies, and Books

ROCK (all kinds of it)
Punk (Die Ärzte, die Toten Hosen, Migre le Tigre) Reggae (Seed, Jaya the Cat), Grunge (Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden), Neue Deutsche Härte (Rammstein, Eisbrecher), Medival (In Extremo, Subway to Sally)

Metal is great too, but I like it live much better than on CD!

And of course every music that makes me feel like dancing is good music!

Best book : Trainspotting

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 12 I broke my knitting needles during knitting ... the woman in the wool shop told me that in the 20 years she was working there she had never seen that before. She than sold me new needles with a metal core.

Teach, Learn, Share

German beer!
A great sunset over Bayreuth.
I could teach you how to make an original German "Rumbombe" = Rum bomb (it´s a cake with tiny weeny portion of Austrian "Stroh Rum 80%" ... probably just enough to put a small dog in a coma... ) , or we could make Sushi, that wouldn´t be "original japanese" Sushi because I learned it form an russian friend, but I guess simply "multicultural "Sushi instead than. I am also keen on learning new stuff and cooking together with a glas of wine, while some music is playing in the background, is one of my favourite social aktivities.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, England, France, Greece, Italy, Slovakia, Spain
