About Me

I really want to contribute to world peace

I'm so new at this, I'm having my first official experience right now!

My personal philosophy is "never for money always for love" like the talking heads song. But I also follow the Buddist philosophy of Nichiren Daishonin (Japan).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm trying to...

So far its been great, I've hang out a lot with ocasional surfers in Rio, I'm not able to host at the moment because I live with my family, but I really like doing CS activities that envolve going out to dance or trips "into the wild".

the human being is my main interest, on the free time I study ecological economics and used to be an actress.

My favorites are: radiohead, sonic youth, qotsa, rokia traoré, the kinks, amadou et mariam, beirut, nina simone, billy holiday, pj harvey, elis regina, chico buarque, jp simões, sérgio godinho, talking heads, the smiths, dEUS, nico, rodrigo leão, velvet underground, tindersticks, fela kuti, ali farká touré, staff benda bilili and many many others.

movies: mainly old movies, specially nouvelle vague and film noir, but I also enjoy watching american and european independent movies

books: portuguese literature of course (josé luís peixoto, gonçalo m.tavares, josé saramago, dulce maria cardoso), but I also like paul auster, italo calvino, garcia marquez, among others.
