Use Austin as a "HUB" for launching expeditions North and Soutn of the Border.
I have been called a laid back (type former 70's hippie and still hippie at heart), who enjoys a diverse range or activities.
After being in the corporate world for a few decades I decided several years ago to "re-take" my life and stop allowing life to control me and have me control my life!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I only found the site today and hope to host and be hosted.
Over the years I've slept on floors, garages, cars, beaches, forests, couches, porches, barns, and a Myan Ruin!
family, travel, spur of the moment road trips, horticulture/gardening, hiking, biking, snorkeling/swimming, picnics, fishing, Flea markets, auctions, garage sales,
exploring Central Texas and all of Mexico, healthy foods, dining out on occasion, BBQ, music of the world, romance, spirituality, WHEW!
And I am just getting started...lol
- garage sales
- live music
- road trips
Music, Movies, and Books
Tunnels of Cu Chi, Heaven and Earth.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visited multiple Mayan ruins (and married a descendant), dove the underwater cliffs of Roatan Honduras, hung out in many cities and villages of Mexico & Central America
Teach, Learn, Share
Share the beautiful City of Austin aka "live Music Capitol of the World", learn to snorkel, gardening survival tips, Spanish crash course, and how to enjoy a Texas evening on a budget.
