PHILOSOPHY

I believe in being positive no matter how rough life gets. I believe that the more you give out, the more you receive. I believe that creating good karma is key to inner balance on this earth. I believe in embracing all cultures/lifestyles. I believe in good souls. I believe in creating a better world starting with me, yet always appreciating the aid of others to help nurture my weaknesses/ignorances and to help me stand up stronger. I'm an alltheist - I believe everything is connected and that as we awaken to deeper connections we awaken to a bigger picture of self-awareness working together with a stronger tether of all of us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this point I'm not able to offer a couch, but I would like to in the future. I believe in creating good karma and paying kindness forward so I feel obligated to help others the way others have helped me along the way when I can. I'm currently on seeking a couch to surf on in Santa Fe, NM because I have a few days off before the New Year when I will be housed with my Employer. Santa Fe is Home. This is my 4th Return Here and I Plan to Build a Homebase Here and travel Far & Wide from The City Different. I love to establish some quality new friends. Already linking up with several groups on MeetUp.com in effort to dig in some quality vibrant roots upon early arrival.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have certainly crashed on many friend's couches throughout my lifetime since I both love to travel and am a bit of a passionate Exploratory Soul in general. I never like to feel tied down by life so if I find myself in a dead-end job or a spot in life that feels stuck after a while I may finally decide to make a change. I don't fear change. I maintain Genuine Respect for other people's property. I have a history in hospitality oriented jobs. I'm open to the new adventures life brings into my life. I believe in trying to seek out positive energy and people to surround ourselves in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I find beauty in simplicity and in the nooks and crannies of life. I find magic in everyday life especially in a place like Manhattan. As I have harnessed a positive attitude throughout life I have always seen something come along and catch me in life when I needed a hand or help. Positivity and belief that you will make it through your trials to greater triumphs is the key to life. I also experience life strangely sometimes like from the perspective of sci-fi concepts. I love considering the ideas of multi-verses, time travel, etc. I enjoy considering ideas in constructive manners. I want to work more to improve our existence; not destroy it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I struggle in knowing my strengths as a teacher. I always attempt to keep positivity at my side. I always attempt to believe that even the worst scenarios can breed great acts of humanity for better tomorrows. In many ways I feel like I could stand to learn more survival and self-sustaining skills... especially gardening, community service, building homes/furniture, and such. My parents were great, but I grew up as an only child and admittedly was not forced to do a lot of learning every day maintanence type things. I can cook if I have ingredients and resources. It's not always a success, but I love to experiment. As a guest I will bring what I can to the table of the couchsurfing experience, but I am open to learning so much. I feel like a late-bloomer in many ways.
