Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm contemplating traveling more outside of my local area however don't have a lot of cash to spend and would love to meet people wherever I travel to. I used to hitchhike a lot when I was younger and I kind of miss that because I got to meet all kinds of people when I traveled.

Unfortunately I live with my parents so I can't host anyone unless you just need to camp for the night in which case there is a State Park with showers closeby and at least my parents won't have strangers using their bathroom. Sorry.

I listen to a plethora of different music and what I dislike is less that what I like. My favorite online radio stations besides YouTube are KHUM and KNBA. I hate TV and movies I used to watch in a land rather distant- far, far away- in another galaxy? My favorite book is whatever regional flora I'm using to identify plants with.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Photography skills- portraits, gardens, landscapes of their favorite hiking trail or mountain that the recommend to me and well as plant identification skills if you would like a list of plants on your property or identify weeds or? Garden varieties however are not my specialty, plants in native habitats are. Also if you are interested in growing native plants I have seeds that I would be more than happy to share, though most might need cold stratification.
